Ange, thanks for the help finding the pub on Saturday- top girl!!
After arriving at the Old house at home in sheerness my girly and me made our way down the high st past the rolling tumbleweed to try and find a place to eat it was a tough choice but we finally settled on the only place
that was open - an Indian that was empty on a saturday night - good food tho'.
Got to the gig for 9pm only to find the pub only had 4 people in it and not a Throwback to be seen anywhere.
Old lady behind the bar when asked replied " nah no 'ere me darlin i'm surethey got moosic on
dahn the ....aah was tha f***in place called .. oh yeah the vine , dahn the road mate up the
alley ..sorted..
So off we trotted to this place that had 5 different proper heavy thrash metal bands on .
we soon moved off "dahn tha road a bit" thats when I started to curse the Cat...but
thought I know I have St Angela's number in my phone I will ring the patron saint
of the porcine airwaves and ask her to look on the tinterweb.
She informed me that I had disturbed a particularly riveting piece
of modern television , Big Brother i think it was called!
Aha! two pubs on the island by the same name!!

Off to Queenborough
Entered the correct pub this Time to find a proper packed pub!!
The Throwbacks were in full swing and rocking the socks off the place.
Mr Cameltoe and the crew were on fire
It was also an oppotunity for audience participation as you had to navigate your was past an increasingly
swaying lead singer then under the bass players neck ( thats the handle Overtone) and off down the
corridor to the bogs!!

If you could bottle it you would make a fortune!

the rest of the guys we're equally as phenomenal the crowd was cooking and good looking,
so guys lets bring forth the guillotine and chop up some more tunes for the masses with some, wild cat tub thumping,
mashed potato finger picking, cheese eye chavy boy rockin blues tap ya shoes, come on everybody lets rock and roll! YYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Gentlemen,
Just a short email to sincerely thank you for your gig at The Elms (Worthing) tonight … (well, yesterday
actually … you went on so long I had to buy another round …!). Thank you guys for coming all the way
from the Medway, we really enjoyed your music. Next time, don’t let landlords bum you off with a
percentage, demand a Saturday night, pre-fix a fee and then add a percentage to the overall takings
(and get someone to count heads and multiply that by about twelve quid a head, then work out your
percentage … either that or advise that your day jobs are with the Revenue and ask about their
tax returns … I find this always makes people ‘sit up’. Seriously, you are a really talented
band and we wish you every success.

Hi just wanted to say thanks for a great night. My family friends, and myself, came to see your band play
at the elms Friday night in Worthing, we done a lot of dancing singing and drinking, and really enjoyed
the music,- didn’t want the night to end. We are definitely coming to your next gig; we are already
planning our night out. I’ve told my friends at work, and some of them said they will come as well.

Hi guys, Great day in the garden!
Once the PA had been sorted it turned into a brilliant gig, well supported I may add.
Good choice of numbers that kept the fans, old and new rocking in their seats.
Another plus was despite the cloudy skies it stayed sunny and warm and
much beer and lemonade flowed and they were rushed off their feet at
the BBQ!A big thank you must also go out to Learning Curve for
adding their great sound to the proceedings!
